THE BACKGROUND:

Ryan Hidinger is one hell of a chef and an even better human being! Ryan and his wife Jen are friends to us and they are dearly loved by legions of people. We met Ryan and Jen many moons ago when he was a Chef at Muss & Turners in Atlanta…one of our favorite restaurants.

RYAN IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AGAINST STAGE IV GALLBLADDER CANCER.

On December 21st 2012 Ryan was pre-diagnosed with Gallbladder Cancer and then New Year’s Eve, it was confirmed that he has Stage IV Gallbladder Cancer that has spread to the liver and lungs. This is the fight of his life. The reason he has learned all the lessons he has. It is time to put it all out there and say NO to circumstances and push the battle line forward. Gallbladder Cancer is a rare form of cancer that the medical industry is just starting to learn about. Ryan and his wife Jen are exploring all forms of treatment options and turning over every stone in search of the best plan of action on the road to recovery.

THE WHAT:

We will be hiking up the infamous Novato. It’s 1700 feet in elevation in a little less than 2 miles. It’s a tough hike, but you CAN do this. When it gets tough, I want you all to think about what you are hiking for.

THE ASK:

Please help us win this fight by removing all financial barriers on the Hidinger’s road to recovery. This is a chance to shed an immense amount of light, love and life on a Chef who represents EVERYTHING GREAT about being a human being.

We are asking that you donate yourself…$5, $10 anything helps! Please ask your friends and family to pledge donations to you on this hike as well. I will be sending out a donation email that you can use to send to your contacts.

THE INFO:

Meet up in the Upper Lot at 7:45AM. Wheels are up at 8AM. Novato is approximately 20 minutes North. Total hike time depends on how quickly you go :) . Plan on being done around 10:30-ish. This is open to EVERYBODY…we just ask that you make a minimum donation and try to get pledges from people to support this great cause.
